How gorgeous is Ektar for landscapes?! 👌 Photo by @canoe_there. "This photo was taken on the way back to Anchorage from Nome while flying over the Alaska Range. I have been fortunate to photograph and film the Iditarod sled dog race the last 2 years with my good friend @ianplanchon and the @ktva_alaska crew. It as been an amazing experience following the mushers from village to village across Alaska while battling wind, snow and ice through temperatures ranging from 40*F to -40*F." — Dave Poyzer of Canoe There

Our Legacy, Our Vision.

PhotoVision Team

#tbt to November 1, 1968 (!) when the No. 1 song on the radio was "Hey Jude" by The Beatles, President Lyndon B. Johnson ordered a halt to all bombing of North Vietnam, the Motion Picture Association of America introduced their rating system and we, PhotoVision, opened our doors in Salem, Oregon! Our goal from the beginning was to become *the* professional film processor for the region and offer local photographers the quickest turnaround times at the highest quality. Today, we are proud to continue this legacy not only in our region, but worldwide, with the 3rd generation of the Wood Family and a Team with over 400 years of combined photographic experience. From our humble beginnings as a small-town camera shop, to becoming the Pacific Northwest’s premier film lab, one thing has remained the same—Always do what's right. Our 48-year commitment to helping all film photographers achieve their goals is bar none in the industry. Join us. Our Vision is to help you reach yours. ⠀

Blurry love in motion, captured in one of my favorite locations – the Oregon coast. This image of @jessicarosephoto and her husband, Daniel, was taken on a cloudy day at Otter Rock, shot on #fuji400h. @erichmcvey

This image is incredibly special to me – an intimate moment shared between two people I’m lucky to call friends, on the morning of their elopement. Shot on #ilforddelta3200. Kaela & Jonathan flew from Alabama to elope on the Columbia Gorge here in Oregon. They started their day slowly, making coffee and breakfast together, while I observed from a distance, snapping moments as they naturally unfolded. We then headed to a secluded forest where they exchanged vows. Styled by @ginnyau @loomcurated

Movement on film. I can’t get enough of it. This was shot on #portra800 during a session in my natural light studio that we put together just for kicks. It’s always freeing to create something without pretense or preconceived purpose, and I try to make sure I give myself time to do so as frequently as possible. It allows me to grow and push boundaries without hesitation or risk. Model: @nini_jen of @option_models | MUAH: @bethlevelartistry | Styling: @amymcvey
