It's the Summer of Moscow Mules! So declared by @brittjensenphoto! "This photo was taken while preparing for a casual dinner gathering at my home with a few friends and loved ones, on a beautiful, 85-degree evening in Chicago. I made the signature recipe and added a twist by incorporating a hint of orange. I love having a signature cocktail for friends to grab when they arrive. Nothing better than good music, something refreshing to sip on and lovely friends and conversation to enjoy a summer evening. These are the memories I dream of." — Britt Jensen.

1.5 ounces vodka (Tito's Vodka is a good choice!)
2 - 3 Tablespoons freshly-squeezed lime juice
Crushed ice, or a handful of ice cubes
1/2 - 3/4 cup ginger beer (Trader Joe's Homemade Brewed Ginger Beer is delicious!)
If you're feeling adventurous, add a sprig of mint, a frozen blackberry and a little lime zest to each glass OR just a splash of fresh-squeezed orange juice! Serve in chilled glasses or the classic copper mugs. Sip and enjoy!
Side note: This drink is just as refreshing without the vodka!
