This beautiful couple became husband and wife at an intimate cliff-top ceremony in Scotland, overlooking the North Sea. On the eve of their wedding, we photographed their engagement session. Fueled by adrenaline and excitement to catch the last bit of daylight, we drove . . . and drove . . . and drove . . . until we found this perfect spot amongst the Scottish heather. It was raining, muggy and chaotic, but I was able to capture this sweet and intimate moment between the two of them before the sun went down.
I’m so excited to have had the opportunity to share a little piece of my heart with ya’ll this week during my PV Takeover! I’m so grateful to work with the incredible PhotoVision Team! I’d like to close with an image that is drenched in light. Light is the purest form of inspiration for me—I’m drawn to it in a way that I cannot explain, and it forces me to see beauty in all things. This Chateau in the south of France was so incredible. As the sun began to set and our shoot was coming to an end, something magical happened . . . the nearby hillside village (all neutral-toned stone) created a giant natural reflector, filling the space with an enchanting warm glow. It was just perfect. I love to play with light throughout my imagery and I became very excited to find this particular light. Beautiful light is everywhere, we just have to look for it.
